This weekend brought a lot of bizarre fun! I started off the weekend on Friday by going to the annual college Stomp Show. It was unbelievable and brought me right back to my days on Step Team with Sasha, Steph, and Maddie senior year of high school. It was really cool to experience a different culture at my homogeneous college.
Following the Stomp Show, our school hosted its lovely after dark carnival where students run wild and jump all over moon bounces and shovel pizza, popcorn, and funnel cakes into their mouths. I got a ride to our After Dark event by stopping the Domino's delivery boy on his drive through campus...not my safest decision of all time.
Saturday was another fun day! I hung out with the Juniors in my sorority for a good portion of the day which was a nice break from the people I usually spend my time with. It was refreshing and helped my mental sanity to get some time off from the utter chaos of downtown living. I went to a date party with my friend, Matt, on Saturday night and also had a blast! For the first time ever, I think I actually made it through a night with my date. I always leave them because I get distracted easily but I am proud to say I was actually a good date that night!
Sunday brought sooooo much drama!!! My house had plans to go to Senior Week with all of our college friends before the rug got pulled out from under us when some friends we planned on coming bailed on us. I'm actually not all that mad but I am 100% heartbroken that my friends won't all be in my Senior Week house. Wah wahhh--more info to come in later posts!
